In this article, we are going to take a look at a “story” in the form of an advertisement and analyze why it would make you seek out more details about what they are advertising and how it can lead you to purchase the product.

It was not long ago when movie production and professional photography required a crew and tons of expensive equipment. There are two things that have helped to develop videos in marketing the exponential growth of technology and the diffusion of social media use throughout the world.

Technology has reduced the number of devices we need.

We used to use separate devices for a camera, an mp3 player, a phone, a video camera, a notebook, a television, a radio, and many more things… that have all now been combined into smart phones.

Social media has made us want to produce our own videos.

Social media has made it easier for us to connect to people near and far… in an instant. It, along with our advanced smartphones, has made it very easy for us to create our own video content. This ranges from recording moments with family, loved ones, and friends to ways to market our businesses.

Apple did it to me again.

Here is the video that has led me, and probably many others, to purchase yet… another iPhone.

Now let’s analyze Apple’s advertisement a little bit.
